The proposed project aims to provide comprehensive, patient-centered programs and services, featuring an expanded emergency room, private patient rooms. The design offers full cancer services including radiation and infusion, further enhanced by a medical office building that would host approximately 50 specialty physicians on the same campus. To enable this relocation from its current site the owner, collaborated with the community to rezone the existing hospital land for townhouse and single-family residential use, a request that was approved by the City Council. The project encompasses a 600,000-square-foot hospital building, a 110,000-square-foot cancer center, a 95,000-squarefoot specialty care center, a 32,000-square-foot central utility plant, and two parking garages across its eleven floors.

Case Study

Fractile is currently modeling the drywall scope for the four buildings in this Project, creating Revit models of elements such as studs, headers, tracks, framing, insulation, and the slab deflection zone using project documents and maintaining an LOD 350. Our coordination role includes participating in BIM meetings, updating models per contractor’s directions, and providing support drawings. Fractile adheres to the project BIM Execution Plan, using specified platforms for model management. Additionally, Fractile also provided design change analysis between drawing sets in a user-friendly format, quantifying and visually mapping changes by discipline. For extensive drawings, a Birds Eye View analysis was also utilized, and specification change analysis offered as an optional service.

Another prime & large complex healthcare project, Fractile utilized their expertise in organizing and updating Revit models within Autodesk Construction Cloud. Fractile also added significant value to the complex design by meticulously modeling the complete drywall systems & actively participating in BIM coordination meetings to ensure alignment across AEC teams and multiple stakeholders. Their proactive approach includes providing essential support drawings and adhering to the project-specific BIM Execution Plan, thereby facilitating seamless integration and model accuracy. Furthermore, through the user-friendly design change analysis, including quantification and visual mapping, Fractile enhanced project efficiency, ultimately contributing to better communication, reduced errors, and a more streamlined construction process for this comprehensive healthcare facility.
